Grade 3 & 4

Term 3 Week 4

It has been a busy start to term three in our learning community. We have had to change around some of our Learning Space due to the building that is happening, which will be awesome in the long run.

It has been great to see so many of our students confidently showcase some of their work samples to their parents and explain the purpose behind each piece. Thank you to those families that have taken the time to share your child's learning during student-led conferences.

We have had some changes in numeracy and literacy groups and teachers have changed groups also. It is fun to work with different students.

We had a great time watching the St Brigid production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Town Hall.

We have been discussing conflict and resolutions to solve the problems. Also, what constitutes a big or small problem and how it can be dealt with calmly, and being able to express their feelings before it becomes a larger issue. It also reinforces behaviour that we expect to see in our learning space every day and to become more independent in reaching positive outcomes.

Grade 3 camp is fast approaching and we are all so looking forward to that.
