Student Representative Council

The SRC selection process is currently underway for students in Years 2 to 6, with students invited to nominate themselves as class representatives. Those who nominate are preparing and presenting one-minute speeches to their classmates, explaining why they would be a strong voice for their class and how they would contribute to school life. Each class will vote to select two representatives who will attend SRC meetings, share ideas, and help lead whole-school initiatives throughout the year. Nominations and voting will be finalised by the end of Week 4, and we look forward to announcing our 2026 SRC representatives shortly after.
Excitement is also building around our newest Garden Sanctuary resident - a baby calf, lovingly cared for by Denise. As part of a whole-school SRC initiative, every class from Foundation to Year 6 will take part in naming him. Each class will hold a class vote to decide on one nominated name, which will then be entered into a whole-school draw. Our SRC Presidents will draw the winning name at 3:25pm on Monday 16/2, with the official name announced over the speakers. We can’t wait to see the creativity of our students and reveal the calf’s new name!
Kind regards,
Mr Littlechild
SRC Coordinator
