What's happening in the classroom

Foundation

Foundation students are off to a great start! Over the past few weeks, they have been busy participating in a range of activities.

Grade 1

This week, as part of our Sustainability unit in Health, our Grade 1 students have been exploring the 3Rs — Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We have been learning about what it means to be a Waste Away School and how bringing Nude Food to school can show that we are making mindful choices about our rubbish! We have also been busy collecting recycled bottle caps, which we have transformed into some amazing pieces of art

Grade 2

In Grade 2 Science students have been learning that everything comes from something. They made ice-cream and discussed that cream and ice cream comes from milk which then comes from cows. As you can see, they had a wonderful time!
