Year 11 Formal

Ms Angelique Phillip - Kemp

On Friday, 2 August, Year 11 students attended the St John's Regional College Year 11 Formal at the Grand on Princes. The event was a huge success, with all students in attendance having a great time. Staff and students had a chance to dress to the nines and enjoy an evening of celebration and dancing.

The evening began with a formal dinner, where students indulged in a delicious three-course meal. Laughter and conversation filled the room as friends shared stories and created memories. After dinner, the dance floor quickly became the night's focal point. A live DJ kept the energy high, playing a mix of current hits and classic tunes that had everyone on their feet. The atmosphere was pure joy, with students dancing and singing along to their favourite songs.

A photo booth allowed students to capture fun, candid moments with their friends throughout the night. The printed photos served as a keepsake, a tangible reminder of a night many will cherish. A formal photographer was also on hand to take individual and group photos.

In the end, the Year 11 Formal was more than just a party; it was a milestone. It was a chance for students to come together, celebrate their achievements, and create lasting memories. It was truly a night to remember. Thank you to all the staff whose efforts in the weeks leading up to the event made it all possible. Thank you to the student committee, which provided the table centrepieces and assisted in many key decisions for the event.

Thank you to the staff and students who attended and made it such a success.
