Book Week

We are delighted to invite you to join us for our annual Book Character Parade and Book Fair! Book Week is a wonderful celebration of literature. This year, the theme for Book Week is: ‘Book an Adventure’. To celebrate this occasion, our school will be hosting the following events: 

Book Character Parade

Wednesday 20th August (Week 5)

Playground A (Under COLA) 

Students are encouraged to dress up as a book character for the day. The Book Character Parade will occur over two sessions at designated times in the morning. You are welcome to observe your child’s/children’s parade. Whilst onsite, all visitors will be asked to enter and exit from Gate 3 and leave the school grounds immediately after the parade is over.     

Book Fair

Monday 8th – Friday 12th September (Week 8)

School Library

The Scholastic Book Fair will be open to students during their library session in Week 8. Beforehand, students will receive a flyer featuring selected books on sale, along with a wishlist and payment receipt form, which can be completed and used as credit to spend at the fair. If you wish to purchase books online, simply visit www.scholastic.com.au/payment, select ‘St Johns Park Public School’ and follow the instructions.
