Walkathon

This year, we are excited to host a Walkathon as part of Public Education Week. This event will celebrate the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students while also raising funds for our school. Join us in honouring NSW public education! The Walkathon will take place on the school grounds on Tuesday, 5th August, 2025, from 12:40pm to 1:50pm. Money raised from this event will contribute to the purchase of sports equipment.

Students are reminded to bring a water bottle and a hat. All students are encouraged to wear sports uniform. This includes appropriate and protective footwear and a hat for sun protection.

Children who suffer from Asthma should always carry their puffer with them during the Walkathon.

SPONSOR CARD

Each student has received a Walkathon Sponsor Card. Sponsors may make a donation or may wish to sponsor the student per lap. The Walkathon Sponsor Card needs to be filled out with promised amounts and returned to your child’s teacher on the day of the walkathon so that the number of laps can be recorded.

Students will receive their Walkathon Sponsor Card once the Walkathon is completed. No money is to be returned before the event. Instructions for returning donations/sponsorship money will be sent home in Week 2.

PRIZES

Students will receive one entry into the draw for every $5 increment towards winning the grade prize. 

We strongly encourage parents to participate in the Walkathon.
