The School of Indigenous Studies supports Indigenous Year 12 students to attend the July WACE revision program for free. To be eligible, students should be taking 3 or more ATAR subjects. All accommodation and travel costs are covered for regional Year 12 students.

Term 2 Can Do Training for 16 – 26-year-olds

The Can Do Training Program is for students with additional learning needs. 

 

Coordinator, Marilyn Garbin, helps the students to develop employability skills before supporting them into voluntary work and then paid employment.

The Multicultural Services Centres in Mirrabooka and Cannington provide an employment, education and training support to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people including fixing your job application.

Check out the Construction Futures Centre

The Construction Futures Centre in Belmont provides hands on interactive experiences with different trades in the building industry. There are simulated cranes and 3D virtual experiences that give you a fleeting introduction to a diverse range of jobs. 

There are experts who explain the duties of jobs, demands for different skills and pay rates. 

CALD Individuals or groups can book in to tour the Centre HERE
