🐝 Bzzzzzzzz: Buzzy Bee Sculptures 🐝
After practicing drawing bees, Year 1s ‘embossed’ their bees into a foil sheet. The bees were decorated by embossing patterns into the foil and colouring with paint pens. Children then bent and twisted craft wire for the legs and antennae. Fabric tulle was attached to the bees for wings. These bees are buzzing around different parts of the school including in the tree in the Page Street yard. We hope you like them!
🌈 Fireflies 💡
More flying beauties! Year 2 students used a variety of materials and techniques to create these colourful and sparkly firefly sculptures. Upcycled metal, cardboard and plastic packaging was used as well as glow in the dark paint so they really will glow in the dark when they go home! ✨
