Parents Battle of the Bands Grand Final

The Portals are back and ready to rock the stage at the Parents Battle of the Bands Grand Final on Thursday 10 September at the Corner Hotel! After winning the Southside Battle in May for a record-breaking fourth year in a row, and finishing as Grand Final runners-up last year, they'll be taking on the best of the best. A total of 45 school bands competed across Melbourne, with only the top six making it through to the Grand Final.
Every ticket purchased by Port Melbourne parents and friends helps support the PMPS Performing Arts program, with almost $20,000 raised for our school to date. We're aiming for our biggest crowd yet in 2026, so come along, cheer on The Portals, and help bring the trophy home!
