Following on from our recent Musica Viva performance of ‘Two Wheel Time Machine’, Seniors are seen here composing in groups or individually an accompaniment to a studied piece ‘Bicycle’ in class. Students notated and performed their short composed melody on tuned percussion instruments or violin with correct tempo and dynamics. Seniors will now be studying Media Music involving more composition and performance.

Stage 2 students are now studying the topic Jazz with Year 3 focusing on Rhythm and Year 4 Tempo.

Stage 1 students are studying Pitch and Tempo in relation to describing animal movement while Kindergarten are focusing on Rhythm found in ‘The Carnival of the Animals’ by Saint-Saens.
