Mary MacKillop
On Friday at Holy Family, we celebrated the feast of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop. We gathered together for prayer as a school community in MacKillop Hall and we wore our winter woollies. While we were warm in our scarves, beanies and gloves, we were thinking of others who do not have as much as we have. We also acknowledged the good work of the people at Mary Mac's Place, which is CatholicCare's homelessness services across the Diocese of Broken Bay. We invite you to make a donation via the QR code above if you haven't already done so to support the important work that they do at Mary Mac's Place.
Mary MacKillop encourages us to never see a need without doing something about it. Thank you all for your generosity towards our efforts in raising awareness and fundraising for Mary Mac's Place. We are following St Mary's example as we care for our brothers and sisters in need.

Year 3 Girls visit Mercy Catholic College, Chatswood
Our Year 3 girls had an amazing day and were so excited to experience what high school life is like.
The girls particularly appreciated the kindness and support shown by the Year 9 girls, who were friendly, caring, and encouraging throughout the day. The hands-on Science activities were a big hit, especially creating and testing hypotheses. Drama was full of fun and laughter, with games, circus skills, and voice projection activities keeping everyone engaged. In Food Technology, the girls thoroughly enjoyed decorating biscuits with lollies and turning them into creative monster masterpieces.
They were also grateful for the delicious food provided and the Mercy water bottles they received as a gift. It was a fun-filled day that left a lasting impression on our students, and many girls look forward to visiting Mercy again for the Open Day.
Thank you, Mercy staff and students, for welcoming us so warmly to our school.
