Wominjeka Everyone,

We’re pleased to share that Term 3 has started smoothly, and the children have settled in wonderfully. It has been lovely to see them reconnect with friends, welcome new faces, and enjoy our indoor and outdoor activities. We've also enjoyed the beautiful sunrise views from BNWPS, making for a lovely start to our mornings.

We are already planning our September School Holiday Program. If you have any suggestions, feedback, or know of any fun activities or providers that would be suitable for our children, we'd love to hear from you. Your ideas help us create an exciting and enjoyable holiday program for everyone.

Important Updates

As you may have heard, the AEU has proposed industrial action on Thursday 23 July. We are still waiting for confirmation and will keep families updated as more information becomes available.

The school has rescheduled the Three-Way Conferences to Thursday 6 August. OSHC will operate all day on this date. If your child requires care, please book through Xplor or email us at oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

Please do not send term-time enquiries to the Holiday Program email, as it is only monitored during the school holiday period and holiday care booking .

💳 Child Care Subsidy (CCS) – 

We kindly ask all families to regularly check their statements to ensure that their Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is being applied correctly.

We have noticed that some families are currently not receiving CCS. This may be due to:

• Enrolments not being successfully confirmed through Centrelink, or 
• CCS entitlement not yet approved or updated by Centrelink. 

To avoid unexpected out-of-pocket costs, please ensure that:

• Your CCS enrolment is confirmed via your Centrelink account, and 
• Your entitlement is active and up to date. 

We also recommend setting up a payment method to manage any gap fees. Alternatively, payments can be made through the app using “Pay Day Now”.
