On Monday we welcomed Perform Education, official in-school partner with the Children’s Book Council of Australia to perform for our students exploring the CBCA Children’s Book Week theme ‘Symphony of Stories’, promoting literature and the joy of reading in an interactive, fun and engaging way. James and Katie brought to life a selection of the 2026 CBCA Shortlisted books in a story about creativity, perseverance, kindness and the importance of ‘not judging a book by its cover’. These performances concluded the fun activities we have had on offer during Book Week. Thanks to everybody who has joined in or helped to organise such a fun week. We can’t wait to announce next year’s theme soon! 

With three weeks of the term left please make an effort to return any overdue Library books. We would love to see all students borrow some good fit books to read and enjoy over the holidays.
