District Sport Competitions

Basketball: Congratulations to the Year 5/6 Girls and Boys Basketball teams who competed in the Mordialloc District Basketball Gala Day, last Monday. The girls won two of their games and the boys were able to win a game as well. The competition is highly competitive in our district and we hope that our students enjoyed the experience of playing in a team and representing our school. Thank you to Mr Davies, Mr Parker and Miss Lara Bates for training and coaching these teams. As the games progressed, so did the students’ ability and spirit to play as a team. Athletics: Today, 58 students from Years 3 - 6 competed in track and/or field athletics events at Dolomore Reserve. 

Thanks to Mr McGuiness for organising trials and the multiple staff at St Mark’s who have volunteered to train students throughout the last couple of weeks. 

AFLW Opportunities

AFL Victoria are running some fun and exciting programs at AFLW games this season which may be of interest to girls only (sorry boys). As AFL starts to wrap up, the AFLW season is only just getting underway. We've got a couple of great opportunities through both St Kilda AFLW and Hawthorn AFLW that you can register for including clinics where girls participate on the ground before AFLW games, meet players and be part of the guard of honour.
