A list of student's who received 'Student of the Week' this week 

Student of the Week- Week 7

Performing Arts - Norwayne 2A Norwayne for displaying a keen interest in Music during Book Week! She confidently created a soundscape for our story ‘ Frogs First Song’, using dynamics, pitch, rhythm and tempo on her percussion instrument. She also created her own rhythm and proudly coloured her frog worksheet. Well done!

Chinese -  Harper 5C ( Be Respectful) Harper listens carefully, supports her classmates with their learning and works collaboratively to help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Harper follows teacher instructions responsibly and takes pride in making positive choices that support both her own learning and the success of those around her. 

 

6B - Justin for your outstanding work in your writing this week. It is evident you have applied  feedback and put in a lot of effort. You should be proud of your work. Well done!

 

6C - Harjaap for his award is for showing greater effort and pride in his written work during Reading. It has been wonderful to see you working hard and taking more care with your work. Keep it up, Harjaap! 

 

5A - Leanna (Be Respectful) for always treating her classmates with kindness and respect. Leanna is a thoughtful and helpful friend who is always ready to support others and lend a helping hand when needed. She helps create a happy and welcoming classroom for everyone. Well done, Leanna! Keep up the fantastic work!

5C - Marvelee (Be a Learner) Marvelee has worked hard this term to improve his writing skills. He has worked on the quality and the length of his writing, in both fiction and nonfiction form. He discovered this term that he can incorporate his love of drawing and create stories around them.Fantastic enthusiasm and improvement Marvelee!

 

4A - Joaquin (Be a Learner) for his excellent efforts in Maths during our addition unit of work. He was successful when adding decimals to the hundredths with regrouping! Awesome work Joaquin! Keep up your wonderful efforts!

4B - Faneend (Be a Learner) for being a fantastic role model by always staying on task and putting in her best effort. She worked hard to solve addition problems with three or more addends, including problems involving regrouping, and applied her skills to adding decimals with great focus. Well done, Faneend!

4C - Andrew (Be a Learner) for persisting when being challenged in his learning. It has been great to see you working hard to solve tricky large-numbered subtraction equations with renaming. Well done, Andrew!

 

3A - Te Maioha (Be a Learner) for demonstrating pride in her learning this week during Writing. She remained focused and tried her best to include all of the elements on the writing checklist. Keep up the great effort! 

3B - Daniel (Be a Learner) for your excellent contributions during our mini lessons. It is fantastic to see your confidence grow as you share your great ideas and engage enthusiastically in learning. Keep up the amazing work, Daniel!

 

2A- Jazz ( Be a Learner) for demonstrating resilience in mathematics this week. Jaz has worked hard in maths and should be very proud of his efforts. Jazz has shown determination, confidence and resilience when solving multiplication problems and contributing to number talks. Well done Jazz!

2B - Zayde (Be Respectful) for consistently being a respectful and valued member of the class. Zayde should also be proud of the hard work he has put into improving his handwriting and the effort he continues to show towards his learning. Keep up the fantastic work, Zayde! 

 

FB - Johnathan (Be a Learner) Johnathan has shown a great deal of improvement with using whole body listening during learning time on the floor. Keep up the wonderful work, Johnathan.😊

P.E. - Seb 3B - Seb consistently demonstrates active listening and enthusiasm for learning, particularly during Physical Education. He is always respectful, kind, and a pleasure to have in the classroom. Seb approaches activities with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. 

Visual Arts - Abdul 6C (Be a Learner) Abdul showed great interest and enthusiasm while researching Dali and Picasso. He was engaged and demonstrated great research skills, sharing his newfound knowledge with his peers. Congratulations and well done Abdul!

Performing Arts - Isaac 6B (Be a Learner) for displaying great pride and enthusiasm in learning guitar chords. He has confidently transferred his chord knowledge from the ukulele to the guitar, making fantastic progress with his playing. Well done for developing your skills! 

Chinese - Emily 3A (Be Respectful) Emily respectfully waits her turn, shares her ideas with kindness, and listens to the thoughts of others, helping to create a positive and collaborative classroom environment. Emily shows resilience and pride by patiently supporting her peers when they find tasks challenging and encouraging them to keep trying.

6C - Ryan for working hard across all subjects, consistently completing all tasks to the best of his ability, and making thoughtful contributions during class discussions. Well done Ryan!

 

5A - Logan (Be a Learner) for always making an effort to complete his work and give things a go. Logan is developing his ability to listen carefully to instructions, ask questions when he needs help and use feedback to improve his learning. He shows persistence and is willing to keep trying, even when the work can be challenging. Well done, Logan! Keep up the effort

 

4A - Edric (Be a Learner) Awarded to Edric for his efforts with Maths over the past term. He has been taking on the challenge of the extend work with great success, especially when adding and subtracting decimal numbers.  Wonderful work Edric! Keep it up!

4B - Katie (Be a Learner) for always being an active contributor during Number Talks and sharing her different strategies. She is an eager and enthusiastic learner who is always willing to support her peers, which makes her a fantastic role model in our classroom. Excellent job, Katie!

4C - Elihu (Be a Learner) for putting in consistently more effort with his literacy tasks. It is great to see you showing integrity and pride in your work. Keep it up, Elihu!

 

3A - Vitali (Be a Learner) for demonstrating perseverance this week while completing math tasks. He worked hard to read and write challenging math times on analogue and digital clocks. Keep up the great effort Vitali, it’s great to see you showing pride in your learning!

3B - Shehryar (Be a Learner) for your fantastic effort during our Time unit in Mathematics. Your dedication and commitment to learning have paid off and it shows in your work. You have taken initiative to challenge yourself and always give your best effort. Keep up the fantastic work!

 

2A-  Nethran  (Be a Learner) for being a respectful and responsible learner who always shows kindness towards his peers and teachers. Nethran has been trying his best to work independently and showing great persistence in his learning. Keep up the fantastic effort!
