District Athletics Carnival

On Friday 1st August our Athletics Team headed to Aberfeldie Park to compete in the District Athletics Carnival.   Please see the report from the day from Sophia and Anika from Room 9.

The day started off cold, wet and muddy but soon turned into a day full of achievements, encouragement and friendship. If one of us managed to sneak in a win, we'd cross the finish line with a grin! We're describing District Athletics, a day that will go down in MPW history as everyone who competed shared in the success and glory of winning the celebrated district shield.

Congratulations to everyone who competed in the event and special mention to Peppa, Carlisle, Jagger, Fletcher, Frank, Lenny, Georgia, Jack, Charlie, Zoe, Anika, Birdie and Byron for   making it into the next round... Division Athletics. Good luck!
