Dear Families
With two weeks left of the 2023 school year we have a few important happenings, including a few that we'd love to see your merry faces at! These include:
Step Up session
Next Tuesday, we have our Step Up session. This is when our current Prep to Year 5 students find out their 2024 class and teacher. These days can bring various emotions and parents / carers can support us wih this transition by talking positively to their children about the next stage of their learning journey.
House Spirt Xmas Day
Next Friday, our school leaders have organsied rotations of Christmas activities. It's a wonderful opportunity for our leaders to lead their houses and activities and as well for all students to enjoy a multiage group bonding day focussed on all things Christmas. Please read the House Spirit page for more info.
Helpers THANK YOU morning tea
On Monday 11 December at 11am, we invite and welcome any parent / carer who has been a helper for our school throughout the year to a 'thank you' morning tea. More details to come!
Graduation ceremony
Monday 11th December is a significant day for our school community. On this day all of our staff will spend the afternoon (from 3.20pm) with our departing Year 6 students, honouring their journey at Fatima and enjoying a delicious dinner together. We then warmly welcome parents / carers to join us for the Graduation ceremony, where we acknowledge and celebrate our wonderful students.
Christmas Carols on our oval
Make sure you have blocked out 5pm on Thursday 14th December in your calendar - it's our annual School Christmas Carols!!! These commence at 5pm, so please be seated prior to this. Bring your picnic rug and/or chairs and food for a great evening of entertainment by our students. Feel free to get in the Christmas spirit and wear some festive clothing too and don't forget to sing along!
End of Year Mass
On the last day of the school year, we conclude with a Whole School end of year Mass. This commences at 12pm in the Church. Please join us to celebrate the conclusion of our 2023 school year.
In closing, I wish all of our Year 6 students the best as they head to their secondary school transition day. What an exciting time of change for each of them!
Go well
