RETURN OF ALL BORROWED SF SPORTS TOPS

We still have a number of borrowed Winter Sport jerseys / soccer jerseys &/or HoopTime singlets to be returned.  If we can please ask all Year 3-6 families to have a good search at home & ensure their child has handed it back to their class teachers by tomorrow please.  Thank you!

NATIONAL AEROBICS 

FUNDRAISING DAY & BAKE STALLS 

Our AeroSchool Aerobics students have been very busy planning a couple of fundraising activities for next week, to assist with the 17 students travelling up to the GC for their Nationals event. If you are able to support them, here is their events:

Tuesday 10th (upon arrival to school):  ‘Gold Coin Fundraising Day’: the Aerobics students will greet everyone as they arrive at school with a container to collect any kind donation from students & families.  There is also an exciting clinic to be

 run at lunchtime:P-2 Aerobics ‘free’ Clinic:  Our Prep, Year 1 & Year 2 students will also be invited to participate in a free Aerobics clinic at lunchtime run by Olivia Feaver, our current Australian Aerobics champion! (and coach of our Aerobics teams).  Another treat will be that our 3 Aerobics teams will also perform for their student audience as well.  Our Year 3-6’s will also have an opportunity to participate in a free Aerobics clinic run by Olivia on Wedn.18th Sept. at lunchtime.

Our Aerobics students will be cooking up a storm next week - for the whole school to enjoy!  Home-baked goodies will be available for purchase (& consuming!) out on the Mary Clare court from 3.15pm on Thursday 12th & Friday 13th.  

*Please bring along some $ on those 2 days, so your child can purchase a few home-baked items, including slices, biscuits, rocky road, muffins, rum balls, small treat bags.  Baked goodies will sell between $2 to $5.  NOTE:  Ingredient lists will be on all baked items packaging bags.🍪🍰🧁🍩

BEST WISHES to our LP BASKETBALL TEAMS

Tomorrow our 2 representative Year 5 & 6 basketball head to Sandringham Leisure Centre to participate in the Dendy District LP Basketball tournament.  A big thank you to all of the parents that have offered to support these teams with our staff member; Mr Peter Tyndall.  We wish them all the very best for a great day of games and look forward to hearing how they go!

REGIONAL HOOPTIME DATES

We are very excited to have three of our Senior teams and two of our Junior HoopTime teams make it through to Regional HoopTime this year.  

Our dates for our Senior teams are as follows:

Senior Future Stars – St Finbar’s Falcons: Wednesday 16th October @ State Basketball Centre, Wantirna South

Senior All Star Boys & Girls: Thursday 7th November @ Nunawading Basketball Centre

Junior Regional dates: We are still awaiting dates for the Junior Regionals, which will be shared with the relevant families as soon as they are announced.
