Celebrate Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) at Federation Square!

This free, family-friendly event brings to life one of Mexico’s most cherished traditions. A colourful celebration of remembrance, love and joy.

✨ What to expect:

Vibrant Ofrenda (altar) exhibition
Mexican craft market with pan de muerto, face painting and kids’ activities
Delicious food from food trucks
Live performances from 3pm featuring Mexbourne, Los Románticos and Trago Amargo
The Caminata de Catrinas parade, departing from State Library Victoria at 2pm and arriving at Federation Square for more music, dance and festivities!

🎭 Dress up in your best Catrina attire – there will be prizes for the most creative looks!
