Thank you to all our wonderful families for your donations for our OLA Assumption Day last term. Whilst the children experienced so much excitement at the Fun Fair, we are also amazed by the fundraising generosity. As a school, we raised $2070.15 which has been donated to the Sacred Heart Mission. The Sacted Heart Mission are committed to strengthening communities through inclusion, empathy and social justice so that everyone is respected and celebrated for who they are. Thank you!
We congratulate both 3/4GO and 3/4EJ for their reverent participation in Mass over the last two weeks. We thank Gen, Eliza, Ellie and the children for all their preparations and are grateful that so many of our families could join us.

All Saints' Day is a Catholic solemnity on November 1st to honor all saints in heaven, both known and unknown. It originated from the early Church's practice of commemorating martyrs and evolved into a universal feast day due to the growing number of saints.

All Souls' Day is a Catholic day of prayer and remembrance for the faithful departed, observed annually on November 2nd. Catholics believe this day is for praying for souls so they can enter heaven. It is a time for remembering loved ones, praying for their souls, attending Mass, and visiting cemeteries to decorate graves.
