SMPPS School Council 2026

With pleasure we announce the SMPPS School Council for 2026.

Members and office bearers are Nicole Arnold (Principal), Katrina Walker (President), Lou Pedersen (Vice President, Fundraising & Events), Ankur Pogula (Treasurer), Terena Harrison (Secretary), Chris Arnott (Environment & Facilities), Leila Greenfield (Wellbeing), Emily Tayler, Alex Lefley, Sam Smrekar Thompson, and Nadia Lindop.

We welcome our new councillors, thank our returning councillors and congratulate our office bearers and sub-committee conveners.

Council looks forward to a busy and positive year ahead! 

A warm invitation to join a sub-committee

We extend an invitation to any parents/carers to consider joining one of the school’s sub committees. These are great ways to get involved and contribute. Sub-committees meet around seven times a year and help to create and support the many activities and programs that take place around the school. Please reach out to a school council member, or sub-committee convener for more information. Parents and carers are always welcome to come along to meetings to see what happens before they sign up!

Fundraising

We are currently seeking donations for up-coming fundraising activity. If there is anyone you know who could support us by providing vouchers or auction items could you ask for their help? Maybe a service provider, store or restaurant you frequent could help us out. Any help here would be much appreciated. Please see Lou Pedersen or Emily Tayler for more information.
