Wellbeing and Inclusion Update
Welcome to our new Psychologist
Hi, Wollert Primary School community!
My name is Prasadi and I’m excited to be joining the Wellbeing Team as a School Psychologist.
I’m passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing, learning and development, with a particular interest in inclusive and neuro-affirming practice. I enjoy working collaboratively with students, families and staff to understand each child’s individual strengths and support needs, and to help them feel confident, connected and supported at school.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting, Pilates, spending time with my family and friends, and finding any excuse to be around animals!
I’m looking forward to getting to know the students, families and staff at Wollert and becoming part of the school community.
Wollert World Cup Update
⚽ Wollert World Cup Kicks Off in Style!
The Wollert World Cup is officially underway, and what a start we’ve had!
Round 1 has delivered two cracking matches, with plenty of goals, excitement and some seriously competitive football.
Most importantly behaviour and respect shown between all players have been tremendous. There have been lots of younger students watching and supporting the players.
Group A: Azzuri Believers FC 4 – 3 EC Drop Bears FC
A seven-goal thriller to get the tournament rolling! Azzuri Believers FC held their nerve in a back-and-forth contest to claim the first three points of the competition. The Drop Bears pushed all the way to the final whistle, making sure it was anything but an easy victory!
Group B: Wollert Wrecking Crew FC 3 – 3 Street Rats FC
It was honours even in Group B, with the Wrecking Crew and Street Rats producing another high-scoring contest. Neither team was willing to give an inch, finishing 3–3 after an entertaining battle.
With 10 teams, two groups and only the top three from each group progressing to the Final 6, every goal and every point is going to count!
Who will rise to the top? Who will sneak into the knockout finals? And who will lift the Wollert World Cup trophy?
The World Cup is well and truly underway!
