Equestrian

Congratulations to Lila Woolston on her exceptional performance at the National Interschool Equestrian Championships in Werribee over the holidays. Lyla placed 2nd in Primary Novice 2.3 and 4th in Primary Novice 2.2. Lyla finished 3rd overall in the Primary Novice National Championship and was one of Victoria’s four highest scoring primary dressage riders, whose combined results helped Victoria win the National Primary Dressage Teams Championship.

We’ve had a great start to the term, with lessons back in full swing. It’s lovely to welcome everyone back to the Equestrian Centre and see our riders enjoying their time with their horses.

We look forward to welcoming Scottie Barclay for a clinic on 18 and 19 October, another fantastic opportunity for our Jumping riders to develop their skills with a top-class coach.

A reminder to parents and riders: please use proper wheel chocks to secure horse floats at the Equestrian Centre, rather than rocks.

Please keep up to date with equestrian notices on Toddle. If you have any questions or queries, please contact me through Toddle whenever possible.

I will also be organising a horse dentist to visit the Equestrian Centre this term. If you would like your horse’s teeth attended to, please let me know so I can organise numbers.
