The celebration of Confirmation and First Eucharist will take place on Friday, 7 November, 6.30pm at St Joseph's Church in Quarry Hill with Fr. Bian and Fr. Jackson.

We ask that each student attend a Parish Mass on the weekend of 18/19th October to be presented to the community of St Monica's.

The Catholic Diocese of Sandhurst has announced the election of Very Rev. Dr Brian Boyle EV as Diocesan Administrator. Fr Brian will serve in this role until the appointment of the next bishop, ensuring continuity in diocesan initiatives such as the Sandhurst Mission and Pastoral Goals, Cathedral Square development, and youth pilgrimage planning.
Fr Brian brings extensive experience as a priest, educator, and leader, and has appointed Fr Jake Mudge as his Delegate during his upcoming leave (6–10 October).
The St. Monica’s Parish is excited to share the Eucharist with the classes from school each week. If any families would like to join your child’s class on a Friday, please make your way to the Church for 9.30 start.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC) who Have Reached Catechetical Age
The Sacred Heart Cathedral Cluster of Parishes invites children aged 7+ and are interested in becoming Catholic to enrol in our RCIC Program. This program is “intended for children, not baptised as infants, who have attained the use of reason and are of catechetical age (7 years old and over). They seek Christian initiation either at the direction of their parents or guardians or, with parental permission, on their own initiative.” (RCIA, 306)
