Principal's message

St Monica's is a child-safe school.

We promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students.

The end of term has arrived. What a very busy term it has been. There have been many sport finals during this last week. We have had many teams make finals; some have been won, and some been lost, but to come this far into a season is wonderful. Congratulations to you all.

School Concert

We are now excited to be talking about our School Concert in November. Many of you may have picked up the vibe from all the dancing that might be going on in your lounge rooms. Each class has been practising madly. Our concert will be performed The Capital Theatre on Wednesday 19 November

There will be a lunchtime matinee and an early evening performance.

More information will follow very early next term. Please save the date.

Science of Learning

Do not forget to take time and to watch the second parent session by Dr Jarred Cooney-Horvath. This was sent out via last Thursday. It certainly is valuable viewing, and great information is shared by Jarred.

Cultural Day

Just when we thought we couldn't have anything more exciting happen this term, we have finished today with the most wonderful gift. Celebrating the rich tapestry that is becoming the community of St. Monica’s, we’ve celebrated with a Cultural Day. The students were immersed in the colour and the flavours from the cultures and homes of those in our community.

Thank you to every family that participated today. All the students were excited about this event; we are the richer for having you in our community.

2026 Planning

If your family is not returning in 2026, could you please let the school office know so we can begin planning for the new school year.

After a restful 2-week break, Term 4 will begin on Monday the 6th of October.

Wishing each and every one of you a very safe and happy holiday.

Kind regards

Anthony Chalkley - Deputy Principal
