Hosting Our 2026 Italian Assistant!

Dear DSC families,

This year (once again), we have been extremely fortunate in securing an Italian Assistant.

Part of the application process requires us to provide free accommodation for the first four weeks.

This would be from Friday, 24th April to Friday, 22nd May. Last year’s assistant stayed with a family of one of our Year 12 students, and both parties found this to be extremely beneficial, especially in terms of cultural awareness.

This year’s assistant is Marta Livi. She is 27 years old and is from Umbria (Central Italy), and graduated last year from Sapienza University of Rome.

Her hobbies include ART & Drawing. She also loves cats!

We are seeking expressions of interest from families who may be able to assist. Please note your child does not have to be studying Italian, as Marta’s English is excellent.

Perhaps 2 families could arrange to accommodate her for 2 weeks each?

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

We are sure that this will be a mutually beneficial experience for both Marta and your family.

If there is a family or families who think they may be interested in taking advantage of this fabulous opportunity, please contact me ASAP

Grazie,

Luisa Allen

School Saving Bonus – Check Your Remaining Credit

Families are reminded that they may still have School Saving Bonus credit available on their school account.

If you would like to check your remaining balance, please contact the College via email at doncaster.sc@education.vic.gov.au and our team will be happy to assist.

This is particularly important for Year 12 families who do not have younger siblings at the College, as any unused funds should be reviewed before the end of the year.
