Term 1 Week 2

The start of a new year is a time of hope and renewal and we place 2026 in God’s loving care. Guided by our faith, we look forward to journeying together as a community of learners. What a busy start we have already had, and we look forward to the many celebrations ahead for Term 1 on the Religious Education calendar. 

Opening School Year Mass

On Friday 20th February at 9.15am we will come together to celebrate the beginning of our new school year and to ask God’s blessing on the year that is to come. We invite all our families to join us at Mass.

At this Opening Mass the Sports Captains and student SRC members in Years 1-6 will be commissioned. Our new Kindergarten students will join us during the Reflection after Communion.  

Grade Masses

Each Friday, one grade from Years 3–6 will attend the 9.15am Parish Mass. Families are most welcome to join us for these celebrations. During the Mass, students lead the readings and the Prayers of the Faithful, and following the Mass they are given the opportunity to ask the priest questions and deepen their understanding of faith and liturgical life.

Week 3 - Friday 13th February - Year 5

Week 4 - Friday 20th February - Whole School Mass

Week 5 - Friday 27th February - Year 4 

This year, Sydney Catholic Schools invites us to reflect on the theme ‘Trust in the Lord for True Peace and Strength.’ In the midst of busy family lives and the many challenges children and parents face, this theme reminds us that our faith offers a steady foundation and a source of calm and hope. As a school community, we will support our students to place their trust in God, finding peace in prayer and strength through learning, relationships and service. We look forward to partnering with you as we nurture faith together, at home, at school and within our parish community.
