During the course of preparing the material for the late Peter Dixon's induction onto the Honour Roll, I learned the following about his remarkable family – all three of his children are lawyers.

Mark attended SVC Barrack St (1992 – 1994) and did his HSC at GYC (1995 and 1996). He played hockey, tennis and cricket and represented SVC in debating. Mark was a member of the SVC Student Representative Council SRC in1993 and was its President in 1994. He attended UTAS from1997-2001 and graduated with Arts/Law. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania 2004. He is currently Director of Governance Services and General Counsel at Southern Cross University in Lismore.
