To help fuel our kids in their cherubic singing the CEC will once again return with a table of drinks, icy poles and treats. There will be four x 30min sessions (with peak help needed at 4.30 and 6.30 for set up & pack down) and everyone will still get to see their kids sing, thanks for the early volunteers and if you can do a 30min session here is the link: https://signup.com/go/vfWDTzY
STATIONERY RECYCLING
This summer Banyule PS is participating in Project Stationery, a Melbourne-based sustainability initiative founded by teacher Amelia Trompf and ex-teacher Brigitte Belleville. The program collects, sorts, and redistributes used stationery and in its pilot run, over 41,000 items were rehomed across 23 schools.
Our Sustainability leaders will coordinate collection of excess classroom supplies. Families can also drop off unwanted stationery from home to add to the BPS collection. Please see the list of accepted and unaccepted items above. Please drop your donations in by Monday 15th December. If you can assist with sorting BPS donations please contact Sue Mounsey on 0402 576 277 or email banyuleps.cec@gmail.com

CDS: CAN/BOTTLE/JUICE BOX RECYCLING
With the social season upon us you can help fundraise for the next playground fun just by collecting all cans (150ml -3L), bottles 150ml to 750mL (plastic or glass), & juice boxes and depositing them at CDS. This year we have already raised close to $500 from can donations and looking for your help to boost this over the party season.
We don't use a lot of cans at home, but at work I've found it easy to pop a bin next to the drinks fridge to help drive up the collection. It's a great one to get the kids involved in.
Help BPS and the planet by recycling all those empty drink containers over the festive season at a
Container Deposit Scheme location.
To donate refunds to BPS, select Banyule Primary in
the app or use code C2000010858.
