Surfing Wrap Up

A big congratulations to Joe Potter (Year 8), Hudson Direen (Year 7), Charlie Gibson (Year 10) and Duke Armstrong (Year 10) who were all selected to be members of the Surfing Tasmania School Surfing Team to compete at the Australian Junior Titles – Schools Division to be held in Wollongong. The group represented the College with pride and did a fantastic job against some tough competition.

Cricket success!

Congratulations to our First XI Cricket team who recently travelled to Launceston to compete in the SATIS T20 competition. Over two days, the team showed immense sportsmanship as they represented the College with pride and put their cricket skills to the test, coming away with two wins, one loss and a draw. 

Showing off their new Senior sport uniforms, this was an exciting opportunity for our Senior Cricket Team that we hope to continue for future years.

A big thank you to all staff involved in making this trip such a success.

All Schools National Athletics Championships

 Congratulations to the following students who represented Tasmania at the School Sport Australia Track and Field Championships in Canberra and the Chemist Warehouse Australian Athletics All Schools Championships in Melbourne. 

Ashton Ford: U18 Men 800m Final – 5th place (Personal Best)

U18 Men 1500m Final- 7th place (Personal Best

Estelle Gibbs: U15 Women Triple Jump Final- 12th place (Personal Best)

Max Garwood: U16 Men Long Jump Final- 9th place

James Kirkham: U16 Men 100m Final- 7th place

U16 Men High Jump Final- 8th place (Personal Best)

Volleyball

Well done to our Year 10 Volleyball team on their efforts in the Grand Final this week. The team did a fantastic job throughout the season and should be very proud of their effort
