House Swimming Carnival Splashes into Summer Fun

On Wednesday, 3rd December, students headed to the Coburg Olympic Pool for our annual House Swimming Carnival—a day filled with sunshine, team spirit and plenty of excitement in the water.

Throughout the day, students took part in a full program of events, including 50-metre races in all four strokes as well as a variety of 25-metre tabloid activities. Whether they were diving into competitive races or joining in the fun novelty events, every participant showed great enthusiasm and determination.

One of the highlights of the carnival was the incredible atmosphere created by the students themselves. The poolside was alive with cheers, chants and encouragement as houses supported their swimmers. The strong sense of camaraderie made the day memorable for everyone involved.

A special thank you goes to Geoff, whose outstanding organisation ensured another smooth and successful swimming carnival. We also extend our gratitude to the parents who volunteered their time to help run events, marshal swimmers and support staff throughout the day. Your contribution is truly appreciated.

The House Swimming Carnival was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, participation and school spirit.
