Confirmation

This weekend, fourteen of our students will celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation, a joyful milestone in their faith journey. As one of the three sacraments of Christian initiation, Confirmation completes Baptism. Through the laying on of hands and the anointing with Chrism Oil, the gift of the Holy Spirit is fully received, deepening each candidate’s connection to God and the Church.

Confirmation reminds us of our call to participate in Jesus' ministry and mission, empowering each of us to follow His example more closely.

These candidates have been diligently preparing for this special day, guided by the support of their families, teachers, and faith community. As they take this important step, we extend our warmest blessings and heartfelt prayers for a joyful and grace-filled celebration.

Prayer for Candidates

Heavenly Father, God of power and of love.

We pray for all the children who are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

May your Holy Spirit help them to grow in faith, hope and love and may they come to know you as the one true God who loves them without limit.

May their hearts welcome you gladly;

May their ears hear your voice in the scriptures;

May their eyes see you in all things;

And may they proclaim your glory as they walk in the ways of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

Amen.

St Vincent de Paul Christmas Gift Appeal

Today, we sent an Operoo notice inviting families to express interest in purchasing a gift for a child in need through our local St. Vincent de Paul group. Since we began this initiative in 2020, we have been moved by the overwhelming generosity shown by our school community.

In addition to gifts, families are also welcome to contribute non-perishable food items or toiletries. These donations will be collected in a designated tub in the office starting next week and will be passed on to those in need.

We are grateful for your support and commitment to making a difference in our community.
