School Uniform Pricing Update
From Term 4, 2026, there will be some changes to our school uniform prices following Midford’s biennial pricing review.
Due to increases in freight and material costs, selected uniform items will increase by approximately 3%, with prices rounded up to the nearest dollar. To help minimise the impact on families, many items will have no price increase.
Midford has committed to holding the revised prices for the next 24 months.
The updated uniform price list, effective from Term 4, 2026, is available here

Echoes Yearbook
This year, the Echoes yearbook will incorporate a full year of activities and achievements, with distribution occurring in Term 1, 2027.
We're reviewing how many printed copies of Echoes families receive and exploring whether families would prefer to receive one copy per family rather than one copy for each student. As we also consider our environmental footprint, the Community Engagement Office is keen to hear your feedback via this anonymous one-question survey.
Please complete the survey form here.
Withdrawals for 2027
We would like to remind all families that if your child is not returning to Friends’ in 2027 the procedure to withdraw a student is to provide one term’s notice in writing, via letter or email addressed to the Principal Esther Hill.
Therefore, notice is due by the final day of Term 3, 2026. If notification is received after this day, one term's fees in lieu of the notice period will be applied.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Enrolments Office on 6210 2286 or via enrol.office@friends.tas.edu.au to discuss.
