St Mary's Community Care

St. Mary’s Community

St Mary's prides itself on being a community that is compassionate, connected and caring. At times we all need support, resources and a helping hand. This year St Mary's Pastoral and Wellbeing team are inviting the wider community to collectively care for our community. We recognise that our families are busy but may still want to contribute at various times for those in need in either donation or time.

We currently have key initiatives that focus on caring for our community; Brekky Club, Care Meals and Community Pantry and we need our families help to be able to sustain such an asset.

Thank you to the McCallum, Neville, Harmer, Doolan, Madgwick, Farrant, Eade, Bray, Foster, Tamburini, Walker, Gould & Trickett families who have nominated to contribute.

If any families would like to be a part of these initiatives please contact Mrs Holly Morris via email - hmorris@smechuca.catholic.edu.au or our office staff. We thank you for any support you can offer!

St Joseph’s Rochester - Post Flood Support

St Mary’s has been in continual communication and support of our neighbouring school, St Joseph’s Rochester, post floods. Our catholic neighbours are eight months post flood and as much as they continue to heal and progress, they still need our help and support.

St Joseph’s Rochester has sought our support with a Casserole drive for the many families still affected. If you are a family who can support in the way of cooking a casserole please contact our school office and ask for a foil tray. All cooked meals need to be dropped to St Mary’s school in the last week of term, and a collective delivery will be arranged.

We thank anyone who can support this important cause!
