YEAR 8 GEOGRAPHY

On Tuesday 9th March, Year 8 Geography headed down to the Molong Creek to assess the overall health of the creek. Equipped with buckets, nets and bug charts, the students got in and tested the temperature, salinity levels and numbers of water bugs present in the creek. Many found yabbies and even the occasional fish. Yr 8 have been compiling their findings into powerpoints and will be presenting them to their class members over the next 2 weeks.

YEAR 11 BUSINESS STUDIES

Year 11 Business Studies students have been focusing on business growth and decline and the life cycle of business from establishment, to maturity, and beyond. To make it more relatable, we have been studying an Australian start-up company called Doughnut Time. This business makes signature doughnuts which are handmade using only the finest ingredients with creations that push the boundaries.  After initial success and strong growth, the business experienced financial difficulty and eventually went into liquidation.  To finish off the topic the students sampled doughnuts.
