What's New

New Staff!

You may have noticed quite a few new faces around the school.  We are very lucky here to have such high quality new teachers (and a new Prin!) starting at BPS this year.  They bring with them a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will add immensely to our school community and school environment.  If you see any of these friendly people around the school please do introduce yourselves and make them feel at home!

Check Out Our New Grounds!

Over the summer holidays we had busy workers in and around the school creating some beautiful but functional spaces for our lucky students and families to play, create, sit and learn in.  Firstly the Amphitheatre has had a complete facelift and revamp and our Junior Play Area and sandpit has been beautified and made into a safe and inviting space.  The area behind our junior building (near the fece) has also been re-landscaped with some lovely native plants that should add to the greenery around the school. A huge thank you to Peter Parker, who is on school council and has worked tirelessly getting quotes and designs sorted out).  We invite you and your families to enjoy these spaces after school as they are great spots to have a chat and be part of the community.

Free Dress Day

This year we are looking at focusing our community fundraising efforts further.  We'd love to have 4 focussed areas that we, the BPS community, pinpoint our fundraising and charity efforts towards.

This term our focus will be The Cancer Council.  We have a number of families, staff and even students who have been personally affected by cancer.  As a school we do take part in the Relay for Life event, which runs during March and, as a school it's would be amazing to support our team and support such a worthy cause.  Stay tuned for more information next week!

For your diaries: Free Dress Day for this term will be held on Thursday 15th March.

Keep smiling, Everyone
