Campus Stories

Cadets Caterpillars

Last week the Year 7 Cadet students had to work together to make a newspaper caterpillar and then use teamwork and coordination to move the length of the gym. Two groups managed to do the length three times before their creation broke!

Great result!

Camping Preparation for Cadets

The Year 7 cadets moved on from caterpillars, to camping!  This week they began to use the cadet equipment - learning how to set up their ‘kitchen’ so they will know what to expect for the camp next term. The students displayed some great cooking skills producing some ‘interesting’ pancakes - that tasted great!

Green Team

When Benjamin House won the recent Secondary Athletics Carnival, you always know they will make sure they celebrate the success in style. And they did not disappoint.

The students were able to share in a green themed morning tea.  We don't know what it tasted like, but it sure looked appropriately colourful!

Such a Nice Guy - a winner!

On Thursday last week, the Drama group performed at the Bunbury Regional Eisteddfod. They entered the latest play of their own creation called “Such a Nice Guy”. The students really did a good job and they had a great time. They also won a first place prize.

Well done, Mr van der Tang and students. We are very proud of you and grateful for the acknowledgement of your hard work.

Crazy Hair Day - Dunsborough Style

The Dunsborough students got into the Crazy Hair and Crazy Socks Day last week, and raised $106.00 for Cystic Fibrosis research.  Well done, everyone!  You look 'wonderful' :-)

Crazy Hair Day - the Busselton Way

Crazy Hair Day in Busselton was a huge success, with some pretty amazing hair styles and radical sock choices on display.

Mrs Hemmings took these few photos for us - and we thank the children and parents for their hard work in preparing for a fun day that raised money for Cycstic Fibrosis research.

The High School raised $200.75, and the Primary School raised $280.45.

Well done, everyone.

Choir Performs at Eisteddfod

On Friday an excited group of Year 4 - 6 singers headed off to the Bunbury Eisteddfod to participate in the Choir section. Mrs de Villiers is so proud of the choir who sang their hearts out !

Well done, choir!
