We made it! Our students have officially finished and submitted their entries for the Christmas Story Art Competition. While we don't have the results from SCS just yet, these amazing students are already winners in my book! They worked tirelessly through every stage of the process—reading and reflecting on scripture, drafting, drawing, painting, and even sculpting to bring these incredible artworks to life. They also tackled the trickiest step with grace: writing artist statements to express the thoughts and emotions behind their pieces like true visual artists. I am beyond proud of what they’ve achieved. A big thank you to Mrs Kirkwood Yule for helping vet their write-ups and to all the teachers who generously released these talented students from class to participate—we couldn't have submitted these entries without your support! We hope to showcase all other artworks that did not make it to SCS end of this term.
Gratitude to all—we did it again!
Blessings, Kate Ng
