Student Recognition

Last weekend, Felix (Y2) took part in the Astronomy for Beginners course through Mind Quest and had an absolutely fantastic time. He spent the weekend discovering what a real space adventure might feel like — exploring the night sky, learning about the bright Sun, examining the Moon’s craters, and getting to know all the planets in our solar system.
Through these hands‑on activities, Felix began to understand what it would be like to think and investigate like a real astronomer. The Mind Quest program is designed for gifted learners, encouraging them to stretch their thinking and dive deeper into new ideas. Felix embraced every challenge and built impressive knowledge about this fascinating topic.
Well done to Felix for his enthusiasm, curiosity, and growing passion for the universe.
Panos (Y6) and his cricket team were lucky enough to walk away with a thrilling 1 run win during last Saturday’s grand final. The team worked together and came from behind to take the win. Panos plays for Randwick junior cricket club in the sizers junior cricket league.
