A Journey from Holy Week to Easter

Gallery Image

As we move into the autumn school holidays, our community also enters the most sacred time of the Church year — Easter. While the leaves begin to change and the days grow cooler, we are reminded of the deeper message of this season: renewal, hope, and new life.

During Holy Week, we journey with Jesus through Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane and Good Friday. These moments invite us to pause, reflect and appreciate the love and sacrifice at the heart of our faith. Easter Sunday then brings the joy of the Resurrection — a powerful reminder that light always follows darkness.

The holidays offer families a chance to rest, reconnect, and celebrate this message together. Whether through prayer, time outdoors, or simply slowing down, may this break be a moment of peace and gratitude.

Wishing all of our families a safe, restful and blessed autumn holiday as we celebrate the hope of Easter.
