Prep News

The Prep students celebrated their 100 days of school last week.  Some of the highlights included counting to 100, cupcake decorating, a party with fairy bread and pinata' and dancing with their buddies.

It was an eventful day and we appreciate all the Parent efforts in ensuring the children dressed up to commemorate the day. A fun day was had by all.

We also walked to the river this week as part of our Inquiry Unit ' Indigenous Places'. The children were able to discuss  Indigenous  life  and Country and our impact and ways we can care for our environment.

International Day of Friendship

On Thursday 30 July, St Margaret’s celebrated International Friendship Day. Our Year 6 leaders helped run a lunch time activity where students could create a small person to represent themselves. These were then made into a friendship chain and displayed on our school fence. It was wonderful to see students from all year levels helping each other, working together, and showing kindness; the true meaning of friendship!

Thank you to all the Year 6’s who gave up their lunchtime to run the activity and put the chain together, as well as all those who joined in our friendship activity.

Italian Day will be held on Thursday 13 August 2026.

The children can come dressed in Green, White and Red or something/someone Italian. They will all attend the production - “Luigi Zucchini”, an interactive, comedy magic show that I’m sure will leave us all mesmerized!!!!
