Italian Day 2026 – A Wonderful Celebration!  

What an incredible day we had celebrating Italian Day 2026! From the vibrant costumes to the amazing effort put in by everyone involved, it was a truly wonderful celebration of Italian culture, community, and cuisine.

A huge thank you to the students for making such a great effort in dressing up and getting into the spirit of it all. A big thanks to Ms Lynda for taking on the role as official photographer, Ms. Iannello for filling in the costume award winners and to all the staff for their continuous support.

The production - “Luigi Zucchini”, which was an interactive, comedy magic show left us all mesmerized, laughing and wanting more!!!!  He was brilliant!!!!

The delicious pizza and gelati were definite highlights, bringing smiles to everyone's faces. An enormous thank you to the P&F and Mr. Rudd for generously paying for the gelati which everyone enjoyed immensely. Also, a huge thank you to Andrea Serpanos, Connie Rinaudo, Connie Holmes and Melissa Inturrisi for organising the pizza lunch orders for the students and for ordering the delicious pizzas for all the staff!

Thanks also to our Office Staff for making payments, sending out reminders and organising the gelati order form which helped everything run smoothly!

No Italian celebration would be complete without great music and a cup of Espresso coffee for the teachers!! Thanks to Mr. Hogan and Mr. Romeo for setting up the sound system and playing the music for the parade and Ms. Teresa and Ms. Iannello for the much-needed Espresso coffee!

Grazie mille to everyone who participated and helped bring Italian Day 2026 to life. It was a wonderful celebration!
