Year 2

Over the past two weeks, Year 2 students have been busy developing their information report writing skills. After finishing the text Sophie Scott Goes South, students wrote information reports about the Chinstrap Penguin. They were very proud to publish their work by typing their reports on the Chromebooks. We have now begun reading Koala Ark, which has inspired our next writing task—creating information reports about koalas.

In Art, students explored texture and blending techniques while creating colourful toucan artworks and detailed koala pieces. 

In Sport, with Mr Hudson, Year 2 have been practicing a range of skills in preparation for the upcoming Athletics Carnival. They can’t wait to put their new skills to use in Week 9!
