HSC Marking Applications Open
Are you teaching HSC? A fantastic professional development opportunity is HSC Marking. HSC markers are employed to mark all types of examinations including written, practical (projects, submitted works and performances) and languages oral exams.
Most HSC marking is done online and outside school hours.

HSC Marking Applications for 2026 will open from 10am on Thursday, 5 March and close on Thursday, 19 March.
HSC Marking - Rural and Remote Marking Program (RRMP)
The RRMP program is a joint program run by the NSW Department of Education and the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). The program is designed for country teachers with no or limited experience marking the HSC.

Moderated Assessment Project Work Samples
In 2025 the MaST/LoP PLC began work to create a bank of moderated work samples to align with MaST units. This work allowed for the development of a website which can be accessed by all teachers and used to moderate work samples in their own schools.
Schools are once again invited to contribute to this project and build upon this resource.
