ECT Accreditation Workshop

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) need to be trained in the NESA accreditation requirements and how to become proficient. This is a legislative requirement of NESA and also builds the capacity of teachers and supervisors to use the Australian Professional Standards to improve teaching practice. ECTs are encouraged to attend, as well as ECTs who require further clarification. Participants will have the opportunity to map their accreditation against specific descriptors and identify appropriate evidence.

Access the LINK to register  for the ECT Accreditation Workshop. Ensure you have discussed your attendance with your principal before registering.

Dates/Location:

Week 2 Thursday the 30th of April (Moree)

Week 3 Tuesday the 5th of May (Tamworth)

ECT Well-Being PD

The ECT Coach Team conducted a very successful Wellbeing Workshop for our ECTs in Week 6. They were given a range of strategies to support their wellbeing and maintain a healthy work-life balance as Early Career Teachers.

Strategies were provided and encouraged to set realistic boundaries and prioritise tasks to sustainably manage their workloads.

The day also allowed for genuine and positive opportunities to build professional networks and share experiences, ideas, and strategies with other ECTs to support their growth and wellbeing.
