Harmony Week Celebration

On Tuesday 17 March, we will be hosting a community celebration at school from 5:00–6:30pm as part of Harmony Week. You are all warmly invited to this amazing event with a sausage sizzle and lots of activity stations recognising and celebrating just some of the incredible cultures represented within our school. Please come and celebrate the diversity that makes our community so special. Fr Junray will be joining us, as well as the Lions from the Chinese Museum.

NAPLAN

NAPLAN began last week on Wednesday 11 March and our Year 3 and Year 5 students are doing an incredible job so far. They have completed Writing, Reading, and Conventions of Language (spelling, grammar, punctuation) with Numeracy to be completed on Tuesday 17 March.  There are a few students to do Catch Up tests but otherwise we are nearly completed for another year.

Prayer for Lent

Loving God,

During this season of Lent, help us to slow down and listen to Your voice.

Teach us to be patient, kind and generous with one another.

Guide us to show care for others through our words and actions each day.

Help us to forgive, to grow in faith, and to become the best versions of ourselves.

May this time of reflection bring us closer to You and to each other.

Amen.

God Bless,
