Applications are now open for the 2026 HBIFA Student Exchange Program, offering students a unique cultural experience with our sister city, Anjo, Japan. This exciting program is open to students 14–17 years old who live in the Hobsons Bay municipality

Program highlights include:

  • Hosting a Japanese student for ~10 days in July 2026
  • Visiting Anjo as a Hobsons Bay ambassador for ~2 weeks in August 2026
  • Participating in a 10-week preparation program during Term 2
  • Taking part in cultural activities, excursions, and exchange events

Students must hold a current Australian passport and contribute $1000 towards program costs (with flights and major expenses covered by the Association)

This is a fantastic opportunity to build global friendships, develop leadership skills, and represent our community abroad
