Round 8 of interschool sport for the JETS will be held this Friday at home against the Plenty Parklands Redbacks with Soccer and Lawn Bowls at MPHPS and Football at Mill Park Reserve.

The Rockets competition enters into GRAND FINAL week this week and congratulations to the Rockets Girls and Boys Footy teams who have made it through to the Grand Final. These games will be played against the St Francis Falcons at Redleap Reserve. The teams not in finals will remain at school and take part in the ASP program and teacher lead programs at school.

Our Alternative Sports Program will run the final round of ASP this week. Our students have enjoyed experiences in the areas of Taekwondo at MPHPS, Rugby at Mill Park Reserve and students travelling to Pit Gymnastics.

Northern Metropolitan Region Cross Country Carnival

Congratulations to Yusuf and Jaida on making it through the the Northern Metropolitan Region Cross Country Competition held at Kilmore Racecourse last Wednedsay June 18. Both students had such a fantastic race with Yusuf finishing the course in 11 min 29 seconds and Jaida finishing the course in 11 min 20 seconds. This is such a wonderful effort and these time are so competitive and such a fast race!

Goodluck to Jaida who finished 3rd in the girls event and will now progress to the State Cross Country on July 24 at Yarraglen Racing Club. What a wonderful achievement and such a great experience, we wish you all the best of luck Jaida!
