When you were little what did you aspire to be? Since I was a little girl, I have always known I wanted to be a primary school teacher!
What was your favourite subject at school? I always loved health and P.E. because I like being active and throwing a ball!
What is your favourite sport to watch or play? I love watching AFL! I go most weekends with my family. Go blues!
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Seafood and fruit from far north Queensland!
What’s your favourite holiday destination? Hamilton Island. I lived and worked there for 6 months. It's one of the most beautiful places in Australia.

What is the most rewarding part of your job? When students have an “ah ha” moment after being challenged.
What is your ideal way to unwind and relax? Cooking, Pilates or a beach walk.
When you were little what did you aspire to be? An architect
What was your favourite subject at school? Maths. Now one of my favourites to teach too!
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? I’d be able to fly!

What is your favourite sport to watch or play? I love lots of sports but really enjoy watching the Australian Open each summer.
What’s your favourite holiday destination? I really enjoy going anywhere hot with beautiful beaches like Bali or Thailand.
What skill would you like to master? I’d really like to be able to play golf.
How long have you worked at PPS? This is my 15th year being part of the PPS staff.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? My mum's roast chicken.

5 minutes with Miss Watkin 2W

When you were little, what did you aspire to be? Since prep, I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher. I used to dress up as my teacher and bring worksheets home for my parents to complete. I feel very grateful that my childhood dream has become my career.
What is your favourite sport to watch or play? I love watching AFL, during the footy season I go to as many games as I can. GO HAWKS!
What is the most rewarding part of your job? The most rewarding part of my job is helping children achieve things they didn’t believe they could do. Watching their confidence grow and seeing their pride when they succeed is incredibly special.
What is your ideal way to unwind and relax? I love to read, my ideal night is reading on the couch with my dog!
What’s your favourite holiday destination? Anywhere by the water! I love spending my holidays by the beach if it's in Australia or overseas.
