Victoria University First Nations Fund - Open to students in years 7 - 12
Darrabarruk Turt-Barram (‘New Star’ in Wadawurrung language)
This program aims to encourage Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander secondary school students to progress through their schooling and actively consider tertiary education.
Students attending Victorian secondary schools are eligible to receive a $250 grant to assist with school costs, such as camps, excursions and books.
In addition, Year 12 students who accept a course offer at Victoria University via VU Early Entry can access a $500 grant.
Students can receive a grant once per calendar year.

The Cadetship program is a professional career development pathway for First Nations Youth aged between 16-22. There is no experience necessary for this opportunity.
The aim is to provide a foot in the door to the Museum sector, and to provide a safe and fun environment to explore career options.
Ganbu Gulin Program has commenced!!
Ganbu Gulin (One Mob in Woi Wurrung language) brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to support them to find voice, build pride and connection to culture and community.
The 8 week program delivered by The Long Walk is full of learning and having fun during cultural workshops: art, dance, bush tucker, sport etc.
